CAS-ology #9

It seems like forever since I blogged last, but I'm back.  I've been busy overseeing home improvements back in the UK which are now complete, hurray!!  :-)

It's sad to leave my family when I travel to Norway so to let them know I'm thinking of them whilst I'm away I made this card which ties in perfectly with this week's CASology's challenge, FAMILY.

I got to use my newly purchased Cricut cartridge 'Going Places' which I used to cut the family figures.  I cut them from Bazzill Basics Card which is a map (to represent the distance/countries).

I layered the card and picked out the orange/yellow tone in the map (family element).  The family element was then added to the card using foam pads to add a bit of dimension (forefront of the card - i.e. forefront of my mind too).

The card was then finished off using a Waltzingmouse stamp sentiment in black ink.

Thank you for visiting my blog today
